Our Floral Design School
Mr. K's Floral Design School of Denver is owned and operated by Kaz Yamazaki and is located inside Mr K's Flowers. Kaz has over 25 years teaching experience, including Denver Public Schools, Arapahoe Community College, Jefferson County Adult Education and Front Range Community College.
Kaz has students operating shops throughout the United
States and also has operated his own flower shop since
1976. Kaz received his Ikebana Teaching Degree from Ohara School in Japan. He has studied Jikamori; (Miniature garden table settings) in Japan, as well as an extensive Botony Course.
Mr. Yamazaki has attended Art School and studied painting privately with P.A. Kontny, who was an internationally known Artist.
Mr. K's Floral Design School of Denver is open to anyone who is serious about a career in the exciting world of floral design. Students under the age of 18 must have the signa-ture of a parent or guardian.
Mr. Yamazaki is a Member of Colorado Retail Florists Association and Board of Education.
